Key Scripture: Colossians 2:6–7
“As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.” — KJV
“As therefore you received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, even as you were taught, abounding in it in thanksgiving.” — WEB
The Apostle Paul reminds us that following Christ requires more than just a belief—it calls us to walk, live, and think by faith.
Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is the assurance (substance) of things hoped for, the proof (evidence) of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:6
Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.
Faith isn’t optional—it’s foundational.
Jeremiah 17:7–8
“Blessed is the man who trusts in Yahweh, and whose confidence is in Yahweh.
For he will be as a tree planted by the waters, who spreads out its roots by the river,
and will not fear when heat comes, but its leaf will be green,
and will not be concerned in the year of drought.
It won’t cease from yielding fruit.”
Abiding in Christ is not passive. It is an intentional, daily connection to His Word and His presence.
💬 “Your private roots determine your public fruits.”
We see this truth play out every day across social media and in the news. What’s hidden beneath the surface will eventually show.
John 15:4–5
“Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”
Without Christ, we are powerless to produce lasting fruit.
Revelation 21:8
“But the fearful, and unbelieving… shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”
Let this be a warning—not a fate.
Revelation 14 speaks of the Everlasting Gospel. Often, we must stand in the gap for our family and friends. Let us be firmly rooted so we can intercede for others.

WALK, LIVE, THINK by FAITH every single day
How deep are your roots in Christ?
Can a person or situation easily uproot you from everything you know to be true about God’s Word?
If you’re swayed by every new doctrine, movement, or opinion, it’s time to check your foundation. The Bible says faith comes by hearing—and hearing by the Word of God. Your roots must go deep if you want to stand strong.
Ask yourself:
Are more of my roots planted in Christ or in the world?
Am I being fed by the Living Water or fooled by the enemy?
You cannot be deeply rooted in Christ and the devil at the same time. Choose this day whom you will serve. God desires your whole heart so you may have eternal life. The enemy only wants to destroy your soul.
WALK, LIVE, THINK by FAITH in God.
It truly is impossible to please Him without it.
